Sculptris

Sculptris is a free, 3D digital sculpting program. Sculptris is small and focused at its main task, which is sculpting and painting models.

Tools:
Crease - Draw creases or folds. Inverse will make a ridge.
Rotate - Rotate brush region. Click and drag outside the circle.
Scale - Scale brush region horizontally and vertically.
Draw - Draw/lift smooth features on the surface. Inverse will push down or draw holes.
Flatten - Push surface towards the local plane. Inverse will deform and amplify details.
Grab - Move a region freely in the image plane. No inverse.
Inflate - Expand in the direction of the surface. Inverse will deflate/contract.
Pinch - Squish the surface towards cursor, tightening creases and corners. Inverse will do the opposite.
Smooth - Soften features to make an area smoother and rounder. No inverse.
Reduce brush - Remove triangles to decrease mesh density in the area touched.

3D home design software

Envisioneer Express enables you to easily create 3D home designs using a variety of drag and drop elements including walls, windows, stairs, home furnishings, kitchen appliances and many other home objects.

You can create the initial design as 2D floor plan and the program will automatically render it in 3D, allowing you to do a virtual walkthrough in a fully rendered 3D environment. In addition to the rendered 3D view, the program also offers wireframe and outline views, and even a 3D Stereo Vision display, that you can view with standard 3D glasses.

You can zoom, rotate and pan the display, change the camera angle and more.

Z-Anaglyph

Z-Anaglyph will generate a red-blue composite images for 3D viewing (anaglyphs) from two separate images (left and right). Z-Anaglyph can generate grey level and colour anaglyphs.

The anaglyphs can be viewed on a computer screen, saved to the disk in the Jpeg or Tiff format, or printed on a colour Printer.

Anaglyphs are viewed through 3D red-blue glasses to bring out the 3D effect.

PFE

PFE is a free for non-commercial use software that is dedicated to build 3D text. The program can load any true-type font you like and render full parametrized 3D text.

You can set the lighting of the scene in real-time and modify the numerous parameters that define the text such as the level of detail of the mesh, the font, the bevelling or the materials.
